My cavalier king charles has had allergies since we received him at 13wks. He's a year and a half. I put him on zyrtek about 6 months ago and it helped calm some of the itching but his skin was still red and he had wounds from so much scratching.

One of our dogs was scratching almost continuously and was getting quite distressed, with sore areas where she’d nibbled herself. No more itching and no more scabbing of his under belly and under arms . I have tried so many things to help him. He is a large breed dog and his allergy medicine is expensive. Normally my chocolate lab would get an injection in March and then possibly again in July due to the heat and allergies. He would also be taking apoquil all summer long.

Started my 11 yr old dog on Healthy Petz Collagen drops nearly two months ago and thus far it has performed as advertised. His itching is almost nonexistent and he rarely licks or chews at his paws, thus no more redness or raw skin. Summer will be the big test as this is when his allergies are the worst. I’ll admit I was skeptical. Apoquel and the injections didn’t really seem to help my dog. He itched a lot, he lost a lot of hair. Decided to try it. Two months in almost all his hair is back. His itching has almost stopped completely! Highly recommend!

Both my boys suffer with allergies so both are on aquel but regardless they were still scratching and biting even know they were on the highest dose . So I thought I would see how this works and they do bite but nothing like they were before so I am hopeful that a little while longer on the drops it will start getting even better with it . And there fur rebuilds it self .

I almost didn't buy this product for my baby, Sasha. I just adopted her earlier this year and she was very itchy and her skin was irritated. I had tried collagen before for one of my other dogs and it didn't help him at all. However, something in me said to try this product as I read how this product is made differently from the other collagen supplements out there. I am happy to report that this is working for Sasha!! We have a rescue who was originally from Georgia. She seems to be allergic to all Maine pollens.
